dohuk, northern iraq, january 2005: at the boys dormitory.  assyrian boys and girls are sent to the cities to attend primary and secondary school.  the villages in the region lack even the basic educational facilities.  the assyrian aid association manages a dormitory, constructed from funds sent by the assyrian diaspora, to house up to 400 boys and girls for up to 9 nine years as they attend school<br />
