The NYPD carried out a massive, sweeping surveillance and eavesdropping program against Muslims living in the greater New York and New Jersey area. Their extensive mapping of the Muslim community, without was a serious breach of the constitutional rights of the residents. These are images from the New York City neighbourhoods that leaked NYPD documents revealed were areas the police carried out its surveillance program. The surveillance included eavesdropping and recording of activities and conversations at local businesses, mosques, social centres and community sports and charity activities.
