A statue that commemorates Husino rebellion of 1921 was a strike against poor working condition in coalfields, initiated by the colliers who were members of the leftist political organizations. Faced the well organised colliers the authorities, in order to break strike, employed colliers from Slovenia, who, as soon as they realized why they have been employed, rejected to work. In the following days, confronted with the authorities who neglected social discontent, planning to arrest strike leaders, and evict colliers from the colony, workers started armed rebellion, that was smothered seven days later, literary in blood of seven colliers, while 32 more of them were sentenced to death penalty.
